At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this past February, Samsung introduced their 8-inch Galaxy Note to the masses. And they were pleased, to say the least. Made available in mid-April, the S-Pen-toting ‘work and life balancer’ filled in a much-needed gap between the company’s 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II ‘phablet’ and their XL 10.1-inch Galaxy Note model.
Well, as of Tuesday, Samsung is allegedly planning to add a new color to their Note 8.0 line and it’s strangely referred to as “brown black,” as per SamMobile, the ever-trusty Samsung-centric mobile blog. Now, does that mean two colors; as in “brown, black,” or “brown and black,” more accurately?
The blog says that the color will roll out on the 8-inch “around week 25,” according to their source, Samsung Benelux (the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg division of the mega-company.) It will allegedly be available for the 16 GB Galaxy Note 8.0 (Wi-Fi) and for the 16 GB Galaxy Note 8.0 (3G.)
Now we’ve seen both brown and black flavors of the Galaxy S III smartphone (or ‘Amber Brown’ and ‘Sapphire Black,’ rather,) included in their “inspired by nature” collection. But is that what this is about?
We’re thinking something may have been lost in translation but we have until mid-June to discover.
