Based on Verizon’s usually tight relations with HTC, it came as a major shocker when Big Red decided to skip the One launch. Especially that the new 4.7-incher is by far HTC’s best smartphone to date and the thing already landed on the other three major American carriers.
But it appears Verizon will be bringing the HTC One after all, with the latest word around the block being a launch is set “two or three months from now”. The intel comes from usually reliable tipster @LlabTooFer on Twitter, who says he trusts his inside source “100%”.
Good news for Verizon users, your carrier gonna sale HTC One in near future.

The leaker goes on to say he’s fairly positive Verizon will be branding the phone as HTC One and not Droid DNA Plus or DLX Plus, as other sources told us in the past. A May 22 intro during the network’s special event at the CTIA in Las Vegas is also in the cards, though I know at least a few people who’ll be very pissed if Big Red will unveil the One then and start selling it, say, in late July.
As for specs and features, chances are the Verizon HTC One will look exactly the same as AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile’s models. That means it’ll likely come with a Full HD screen, quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 4 Ultrapixel camera, Android Jelly Bean, LTE, 32 GB of internal storage and a 2,300 mAh battery.
But if that’s the case, why would anyone wait so long for Verizon and not simply get one of the other HTC One versions around?
