Fortunately (for HTC), it appears One Mini’s formal intro will happen sooner rather than later. Otherwise, how you can explain the petite thing has been pictured again, just one week after the last photo “leak”?
Once again, we’re seeing the upcoming mid-ranger next to its higher-end “sibling”, but the latest pic is a little lower-res. Still, it’s pretty obvious what we’re dealing with here – a skinny, but not necessarily tiny handheld with fairly thick horizontal bezels and an all-around industrial, elegant look.
There’s no doubt the One Mini will very closely follow big bro’s design philosophy to the point that it’ll come with the same highly acclaimed aluminum unibody. On the flipside, chances are the smaller battery will be non-removable and microSD support will be absent.
Other specs that seem set in stone include a 4.3-inch 720p display (Samsung, take note), plus Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense and BlinkFeed, an UltraPixel cam, dual-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU and Beats Audio support. Not bad for a “Mini” device, huh? But again, time is of the essence here, as HTC simply can’t allow Samsung to start selling the S4 Mini before announcing this thing.
