The Galaxy Ace 3 is not exactly the most exciting new product to come out of Samsung’s research and development labs. Not even close. But I know a couple of people that can still appreciate portability in a 21st century smartphone and can’t say no to a budget-conscious device with on-board Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Well, if you happen to fit that profile and live in the UK, you’re likely going to have to wait just a few weeks longer before being able to score an Ace 3. Carphone Warehouse, one of the most popular online retailers in GB, has just posted a pre-registration page for the handheld, also mentioning that shipments will start in July.
There’s no exact release date to go with that, but if you need something to keep you going and help with the waiting, here’s a quick recap of the 4-incher’s specs – WVGA screen (800 x 480 pixels resolution), 1.2 GHz dual-core processor), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, microSD support, 5 MP camera, 1,500 mAh battery.
The best part is this particular version headed towards British shores will also come with 4G LTE speeds in tow, which is not a feature you often find at low-cost devices. The only thing that remains to be revealed is the exact price tag. Any guesses?
