As the mid-September expected launch date draws near, we see more images and specifications of the much awaited iPhone 5S getting leaked. The images emerge from the Chinese shores and shows the iPhone 5S rear panel without the back cover as well as the stack of semi-assembled phones expected to be in the production line.
According to the leak, the device is expected to boast a 4-inch IGZO display with 1136 x 640 pixels that offers a better display that consumes low battery, 2GB RAM, A6 chipset that is similar to iPhone 5, NFC technology and finger print scanner. The leak also suggest that the CPU is similar but it will be clocked at a higher speed compared to its predecessor. The phone also expected to feature a 12MP camera with dual-LED flash. As far as the connectivity is concerned, it will come with support for LTE-Advanced network and the usual WiFI and other connectivity options.
There is no surprise in the fact that the design of the iPhone 5S will remain the same as its predecessor. Every analyst predicted that it will just be a hardware upgrade compared, an update similar to iPhone 4S. However, one of the most interesting feature is the IGZO display, that specializes in consuming less power compared to other smartphones, even at a higher brightness level.
We dont know how much truth lies in these rumors, but if these leaked specifications are to be believed, the hardware can be dubbed as impressive. Let’s wait and see what the Cupertinos have to say about this. It is expected that the device will be unveiled somewhere in September.
