Remember, the previously rumored ETA was August 15, which came after a rumored mid-July release, followed another report saying late-June. I don’t like to repeat myself, but at this point is there any reason Big Red shouldn’t cancel this release altogether?
After all, the HTC One is a good four months old on other networks, not to mention it’s unlikely to be among the Android cream of the crop once the LG G2, Sony Honami and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be out. Plus, the One Max is coming too, so chances are no one will care about the 4.7-incher in about 60 days.
But we do have a small nugget of good news concerning Verizon’s HTC One, as an incoming blue version, likely to be exclusive to the carrier, has been (more or less) confirmed. Notorious leaker @evleaks has tweeted the snazzy phone’s first press shot and it looks as expected – like the original One, only in blue. Yawn or hooray? I’d go for the former, but feel free to disagree with me.
