The rollout starts from Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 in select countries, as well as Lumia 521, Lumia 928 and Lumia 810 in the United States. The exact delivery time will vary depending on various conditions like region, carrier and phone. However, one thing confirmed is that the update will be available on all Lumia devices including Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 720 and Lumia 820 by the end of September.
The update will bring significant improvements and features to Lumia devices such as FM Radio, improvements to Xbox Music and Internet Explorer, Nokia Smart Camera and much more.
It has been revealed that all Lumia devices will get improved image processing such as noise reduction, colour reproduction, exposure control and autofocus. The update will also bring the Smart Camera App that debuted with Lumia 925, but will now be available for all Lumia devices.
The Smart Camera app offers tons of features such as better shooting modes, combine several shots, remove unwanted objects from your photos and much more. It’ll be available in the Windows Store starting today so if you got the update, you can just head over to the Windows Store and download it for your device. The update also brings Nokia Pro Camera app to Lumia 920, Lumia 925 and Lumia 928.
Users will also receive Nokia Glance screen that brings up a clock on your screen when inactive along with battery level and tells you if your phone is set on silent mode. However, it will not be available on Lumia 520 and Lumia 625 because the devices feature a smaller display memory.
