You didn’t buy that rumor about Sony’s Honami Mini packing Snapdragon 800 heat, did you? I mean, you probably had a few fantasies about it and whatnot, but you never truly believed it, right?
To be honest, neither did I. It was pretty bonkers after all, especially given what Samsung and HTC have thrown in the “Mini” arena of late. But what if I told you there was another report confirming the using of an 800 SoC for the Honami Mini, plus a number of other high-end features?
And I mean high-end in the “better-than-anything-else-around” sense of the word. Oh, I have your attention? Good. Just be sure you haven’t forgotten to take your heart medication in the last few days or so.
According to an anonymous Esato forum member, who just happens to have a pretty clean track record with similar rumors, the 4.3-incher will be the first compact high-end smartphone as it will come with a 2.2 GHz CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 2,400 mAh battery and… wait for it… 20.7 MP rear camera in tow.
Stunned? Amazed? Out of words? All those and more? I’d say, though be sure to keep your feet on the ground and remember there’s no concrete proof to sustain this wacky list of features… yet. Also, rumor has it the display will “only” sport a 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution.
I know, that sounds run-of-the-mill, but come on, are you really telling me a Full HD screen measuring just 4.3 inches wouldn’t be an atrocious waste of money both for Sony and prospective Honami Mini buyers?
