The one and only Evleaks Twitter account posted an image of Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 few days back with AT&T logo on its rear panel. This led us to obviously believe that the new Galaxy Mega would soon be made available on AT&T’s wireless network.
Samsung announced that the massive phablet will soon make its way to U.S. and will be available on AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular. The carriers didn’t mention any exact release date but we’re hoping to see an announcement soon.
The device packs a massive 6.3 inch display, boasting a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, dual-core 1.7GHz processor with 1.5 GB RAM, 8MP back shooter, 3,200 mAh battery and will come with a 64GB variant, as well as microSD card support for of up to 64 GB. On the software side, the device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
It will come with a number of accessories, like S-View Flip Cover, Protective Cover+ and a few more. The device will be available in two colors: Polaris White and Nova Black, however, the exact availability date and pricing of each carrier is yet to be announced. Sprint also mentioned that the device will be available for sale later this year without mentioning any specific date.
