Wacom has just introduced the new Intuos Creative Stylus, a pressure-sensitive digital pen for sketching, drawing, and painting on an iPad.
This new stylus delivers pen-on-paper feel, and is smart enough to ignore the rest of your hand when it rests on the screen.
The Intuos Creative Stylus features 2048 pressure levels, which gives it that realistic control of using traditional brushes, pencils, or markers.
While an ideal companion for any art professional or student, the Intuos is for anyone who enjoys drawing, sketching, or image editing.
Designed for the iPad 3, 4 and Mini, the Intuos Creative Stylus is compatible with popular creative apps such as Autodesk SketchBook Pro for iPad, ArtRage, Bamboo Paper, ProCreate, and Psykopaint.
The Intuos Creative Stylus itself is ergonomically designed for hours of comfortable use. It also comes with a carrying case to hold the stylus, extra nibs, and batteries.
“iPad users are often on the lookout for new and improved tools that can offer an authentic experience,” says Hartmut Woerrlein, head of Global Product Management at Wacom.
“We’ve had lots of customer requests for a pen solution that adapts pressure-sensitivity to the iPad, as this is something they’re used to when working with our pen tablets.”
The Intuos Creative Stylus will be offered by Best Buy at the beginning of October.
