Many Google Nexus 7 users have been plagued by an annoying touchscreen issue (for those using the multi-touch) and a GPS issue. After a handful of complaints, Google jumped to take care of the situation and responsibly pushed out an update for the 7-inch tablet. The latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version JSS15Q is rolling out to the masses, focusing on fixing both issues.
A Googler posted on Google Product Forums that an update is being pushed to resolve this issue,
As a couple of you have mentioned, there’s a new system update that’s started rolling out for your Nexus 7s. This update does address the touchscreen issues discussed in this thread. If you’re one of the people experiencing touchscreen issues, please let us know how it’s going after you’ve received and installed the update.
If you cannot see the update notification on your screen, stay calm as it takes some time to reach the masses. If you are impatient, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Tablet > Check for Updates. If you received the update, please share with us if the update solved the issues for you.
