We’re a mere 11 days away from the official start of IFA 2013 in Berlin, which means the official announcements, glamorous press events and grand unveilings are bound to begin within the next ten days.
One of the most highly anticipated will take place on September 4 and should once and for all make Sony’s Xperia Z1 (also known as “Honami”) official. But it isn’t like the world is really holding it’s breath very much concerning the phone’s presentation, as the Z1′s appearance is known already to anyone who’s been keeping up with the news.
The spec sheet has but a few holes in it, the price tag can be easily guessed and an ETA is also fairly predictable, while the array of blurry leaked photos have pretty much painted the full picture of how the Honami will look.
Be that as it may, we’re not ones to turn our backs to a good, luscious spill of information, so we give you today what appears to be a press photo of the Xperia Z1. The image shows off the phone in three color combos (white, black and purple,) confirming that we’re essentially dealing with a slightly more refined Xperia Z, rocking, erm, not very subtle bezels.
The outer body is made of metal, the corners are sharp, and a generous though not huge protrusion spices up Z1’s backside — confirming space for a high-quality camera with a 20 MP sensor and “G Lens.” Not bad, Sony, not bad at all!
