The upcoming Nokia tablet is not a mystery anymore. We know that Nokia has a tablet running Windows RT in their pipeline, which is expected to launch in September. Now, a fresh leak gives us a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming Nokia tablet. The Verge reports that Nokia tablet,codenamed “Sirius,” resembles other Nokia Lumia devices, and it will be thinner and lighter than Apple iPad — though in terms of pricing, “Sirius” will likely become available with a similar price tag as the Apple slate.
In terms of specifications, the device will feature a 10.1-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB onboard RAM, and will run Windows RT on top of it. One the back side, the device will feature a 6-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel camera up front. On the storage side, the device will pack 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot to expand. The sources also claim that the device will have 10 hours of battery life with LTE connectivity. However, the rumors have it that the LTE will be exclusive to Verizon as seen before.
The Finnish manufacturer is expected to unveil the Windows RT tablet on September26 in New York. With time, we will see more news and images of the alleged device. Now, the question that remains: Will you go for the Nokia Windows RT tablet?
