Reminders are easy to set by note, as you can see from the above screen shot. Location is cool option, especially for phone users. You can also specify an exact time or something general like “tomorrow morning.” Keep reminders show up as standard Notifications. You can also snooze reminders with several convenient options.
The new app drawer gives you quick access to all notes, Archived notes and your reminders. Again, not earth-shattering but convenient.
One thing I really like about Keep is how quick and easy it is to use. Evernote is still my workhorse notes app, but Keep has its uses, especially for notes that I want to keep front and center.
Note to Nook HD users. Previous versions of Keep are Nook-compatible, but this updated version appears not to be. My HD isn’t showing the new features, and the Google Play store tells me it’s not compatible.
