If you’ve ever used earbuds, you’ve experienced cord tanglage. I find that even the Apple earbuds, which are the least tangle-likely of most I’ve tried, still tangle. I’ve delayed many a call with the “need to plug in my headset” that takes way too long as I struggle with the darned cord.
Looks like this syndrome is a thing of the past for me. Digital Innovations sent me a few of their Nest Earbud holders last week, and I’ve been trying them out. Except for some of the colors (pink and lime green–yuck!), I’m happy with them.
Check out the video to see how they work.
You know how product videos always make things seem easy. And then you try them out and discover, not so much? Well, the Nest works exactly as advertised. It takes about 15 seconds (yes, I timed it) to wrap them up and put them away. Unwrapping takes half that. Yes, 8 seconds to earbuds that are untangled and ready to go.
The rubbery substance they are made of feels sturdy, and I’m confident they will last a long time. Nest+ear buds are a convenient package for pocket, messenger bag or purse. The rubber has some texture, so it won’t slide off a table easily (important if you have cats that like to knock things around–yes, I have one.) Unfortunately, I think they are just right for dog chew toys, so be careful.
I’ve been looking for a good way to carry my earbuds for a long time, and I’ve found it. I love the Nest!
