The Samsung Unpacked event is all set to begin in a few hours, but in case you can’t make it to Berlin to witness the unveiling of the “groundbreaking” new devices, Samsung will be live streaming the event on its YouTube channel. But don’t worry, we’ll also be updating our readers with any and all announcements from the event, in case you miss the stream. The event will begin at 10AM Pacific Time/ 1PM Eastern / 6PM London.
Samsung is expected to unveil its much-anticipated flagship phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 along with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to feature a 5.68-inch Super AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 / Exynos 5 Octa chipset with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot and will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on top of it. Rumors suggest that the Exynos 5 version will be unavailable at launch because of overheating issues. And lastly, there are no details about pricing but it is expected to hit the shelves by the end of the September.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Gear is expected to feature a 2.5-inch display boasting a resolution of 320 x 320, 1GB RAM, Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, Android Jelly Bean and a 4 megapixel camera.
