Ascent Solar Technologies, a manufacturer of consumer and off-grid products, recently announced new personal solar chargers. The EnerPlex Kickr I and II use the latest photovoltaic technology for charging mobile devices.
What sets the Kickr line apart from other traditional panels is the proprietary, flexible solar cells. Consumers can bring these rugged panels anywhere for off-grid charging solutions. They’re light enough to pack, but are also light enough to attach to gear for when you’re on the move.
With a 1.5W output, the Kickr I is ideal for recharging batteries and power banks. The Kickr II features a 3W output, which is capable of charging most smartphones and tablets.
These versatile solar panels are ideal for camping, hiking, boating, or any outdoor activity where outlets are scarce and one wants to keep gadgets charged up.
Ascent Solar’s Vice President of Product Development, Robert Meck said: “The Kickr I & II and the expansion of the Kickr line represents another step forward for Ascent’s consumer brand, EnerPlex as we continue to deliver rugged and innovative solutions to consumers who require the absolute best in portable charging solutions, whether they are working in a remote oil field or summiting a treacherous peak.”
