And the Nexus 4 deals just keep on coming. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Google slashed the 8 GB phone’s price to an incredibly low $200 through the Play Store, which made the selling out of all stocks a matter of days, and now Best Buy has a pretty fantastic promo going on.
Only the retailer doesn’t sell the N4 on the cheap, but instead wants to buy it from you for a premium. Trade-in programs are not an unusual thing for BB, Amazon, Apple’s Store or even Google Play, albeit you’ll have to search high and low to find one more beneficial for the users than this.
Specifically, Best Buy forks out a whopping $262.50 for any N4 in “perfect” condition, no matter if it comes with 8 or 16 GB of on-board storage. Of course, owning a pretty fragile gadget and keeping it in mint shape is kind of utopian, but fret not, as even a “good” LG/Google Nexus 4 can bring you a cool 250 bucks.
As for a “poor” one, meaning with scratches all over its chassis, but nothing more severe than that, you can still hope to get $112.50. Which is a decent payday, I guess, if you really want to get rid of your old N4 and subsequently jump on the Nexus 5 bandwagon.
Keep in mind that all the above mentioned payments will only be made out in gift cards, not cash, and think long and hard if Best Buy’s trade-in program is the best choice for you. After all, eBay is a fairly nice place to sell gadgets too. Just make up your minds quickly, as there’s a good chance this “special offer” will expire soon enough.
