For a few months now, there’s been talk about Nokia potentially putting out a full-sized tablet (unofficially codenamed Sirius,) presumably to run on Windows RT mobile OS platform. Although there are some supporters out there, some analysts are feeling releasing the tablet could be a poor decision — namely as Windows RT continues to struggle for proper spotlight, overshadowed by Android and iOS devices.
But this just in: apparently Windows has decided to give the 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet the green light. Posted first on Thursday by Windows enthusiast blog WinSuperSite, an image shows the alleged slate back-to-back with a clone, showing off it’s display screen and it’s crimson back panel.
The gadget is believed to utilize a 1080p 10.1-inch display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor. A rear camera (seen in the above photo) is expected to shoot with 6.7-megapixels. And most importantly, we’re expecting a $499 pricetag.
