As the Galaxy Note 3 is closing in on its commercial launch and LG’s G2 is already out and about, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is this close to being completely forgotten. But not if Amazon has a say in the matter.
The online retailer that we all know and love has just slashed the price of the AT&T GS4, as well as that of its tougher, more “Active” cousin on the same carrier. You can now get either of two devices for $108 with new 24-month contracts, which is not exactly a steal, but it is close to 100 bucks off list prices.
Meanwhile, qualifying upgrading customers are themselves spoiled by Amazon, though they’ll need to cough up an extra $10 for both the GS4 and S4 Active, bringing the grand total to $118.
Not sold on the deal and want to mull it over a little while longer? You might end up disappointed, at least as far as the standard S4 variant is concerned.
The white model has already been cleared out (likely by this very special offer), the red flavor ships in 2 to 3 weeks due to high demand and finally at the time of this writing there seem to be only 12 black versions left in stock. In other words, think less, act more!
