Isn’t that interesting? Yesterday, we saw a tweet from @evleaks, informing smartphone enthusiasts that the Nokia event originally scheduled to take place on September 26th will be postponed until October 22nd. And it seems that he was correct after all.
Nokia posted a teaser image on their Twitter account about an “#innovatationreinvented” event on October 22nd, which very well could be the date when the Finnish OEM will take the wraps off their highly anticipated Lumia 1520 phablet.
The teaser mentions “innovation reinvented” with another caption telling fans to ‘save the date,’ of October 22, 2013. The teaser doesn’t reveal many clues about what innovations Nokia will showcase at the event, but we’re wildly guessing that it will have everything to do with Lumia 1520 and Nokia Windows RT tablet.
We’ve seen the much-awaited Lumia 1520 in a number of images. To recall, Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to feature a 6-inch display with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 3,400 mAh battery and will run Windows Phone 8 GDR3 out of the box. The handset is rumored to launch on AT&T in early-November.
We’ll keep you updated if any information about Lumia 1520 comes up. Stay tuned.
