Last week, the folks at HTC confirmed that their One Developer Edition will be getting a taste of Android 4.3 by the end of this week, followed by Canadian HTC One owners. At that time, it was also rumored that the international version of the handset would also be receiving the update.
Recently, the Taiwanese HTC One also received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. Now, it seems that the developer edition and international variants of the handset will see the update with Sense 5 UI.
The handset came into being few months back but was stuck on the old operating system. The handset brings a decent set of specifications, but in case you forgot; a 4.7-inch display boasting a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC with a clock speed of 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The rollout is gradual, so you may have to wait a bit before you can get the update. If you’re feeling impatient, you can manually check for the update from your handset settings.
Did you receive the update? Do you notice any performance enhancements or improvements? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
