It seems that the HTC One Max can’t stay out of the spotlight for too long. Now, the image passed through the Chinese version of the FCC, showing us the design of the handset.
Not shockingly, it resembles the company’s current flagship device, HTC One, with one major change on the back – a fingerprint scanner — similar to the kind on the iPhone 5S.
The images confirm that the handset will come with a large display, close to 6-inches. So, lets just recall what we already know about the handset, thanks to the rumor mill. Based on rumors, the phablet will feature a 5.9-inch full HD display sporting a 1080p resolution, 2GB RAM, 16Gb internal storage and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
There is a lot of confusion about the processor that will power the device. While the rumor mill suggested that the handset will be powered by Snapdragon 800 SoC, the notorious leaker – evleaks – thinks otherwise. According to @evleaks, the handset will have a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the same one that came with the Google Nexus 4. This could be a downside of the handset though, as many flagship devices are being released with the latest Snapdragon 800 chipset, and could affect the handset in terms of sales.
The rumor also mentions that HTC One Max will see the daylight on October 15, a date which isn’t that far.
