And the Nokias keep on coming. Despite only six new Finnish-made devices being tipped for Abu Dhabi unveilings on October 22, it feels like about a gazillion have been leaked of late, some with more details attached to their names and some… just with names.
The latest is reportedly codenamed “Glee”, although chances are it will have nothing to do with Fox’s once hit teen musical comedy-drama series. Instead, according to Tom Warren of The Verge, the handheld will be a “low-end Lumia focused on music”.
Merely a wild guess? Probably not, since always reliable insider @evleaks was the first to tweet the “Glee” name, followed by a retweet of Warren’s tweet. Do you tweet, I mean understand?
What you probably don’t get, and I’m with you there, is what exactly “focused on music” means. More specifically, focused how? Through software or hardware? Will we be seeing some kind of special stereo speakers on the Glee, maybe Beats Audio integration, a Dolby surround system or what?
All solid questions and we promise to pursue all leads by October 22 and inform you if we get any kind of rock-solid intel. For now, let’s hope for the best and the lowest… technology and price, that is.
