Back in May, Google said it would be releasing a Google Music application for iOS with support for Google Play Music All Access. The months came and went with not so much as a peep from Google about the new launch window for the app. Google is still keeping quiet officially, but Engadget‘s sources are saying Google Music for iOS will likely be released sometime this month.
We’ll start celebrating once we see Google Music in the Apple App Store. Until then, we’ll have to resort to third-party alternatives. Despite its technical issues in the past, gMusic still seems to be the best bet. The developer recently released a completely new application called gMusic 2. gMusic 2 has been optimized for iOS 7, and has a much nicer user interface than the original gMusic. gMusic 2 sells for $1.99.
