Anyone feel “unapologetic” as the weekend closes in? Then you’re in luck, because apparently Best Buy has kicked off the most lucrative promo yet for Apple’s brand spanking new plastic-made iPhone 5c.
Starting today and through October 7, you can score the 4-incher in whatever color your heart desires for a measly 50 bucks. With two-year contracts, naturally, on any of the three major American carriers that still do them: Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.
Launched a mere couple of weeks ago along with the improved, full-metal iPhone 5s, the playfully designed but somewhat shallow 5c looks to be unable to replicate the commercial success of its “brother” or forefathers… at $100 with pacts and $550 outright. But at $50? My guess is it’ll fly off shelves, so you’d better hurry up to a BB physical store or place an order online.
Technically, Best Buy is still not listing the 5c at 50 bucks, instead offering a $50 gift card with each $100 purchase. Yet if online reports are to be trusted, you can use the gift card towards your actual purchase, so it’s as if you pay $50 after all.
At the same time, the deal is not an Apple exclusive, so if you prefer Samsung’s larger and more technically impressive Galaxy S4 you can also get that thing for $150, or $50 off. Tough call, eh?
