A new day, a new round of rumors starring the potential future stars of Nokia’s October 22 Abu Dhabi press event. Only this time the heavyweights, namely the Lumia 1520 and 2520, choose to keep a low profile while some of their modest cousins and uncles step up to the plate.
The Asha 503, which will reportedly be chaperoned in the United Arab Emirates by a duo of doppelgangers named Asha 500 and 502, has followed those two’s suit by smiling to the camera in press-friendly, high-quality form.
Unsurprisingly, there’s really nothing to catch your eye about 503’s design, unless of course you dig tiny, crammed “dumb” phones with exotic paint jobs… and aren’t familiar with all the other Ashas. Yet rumor has it there will be something to help you remember the Asha 503 once it becomes official, specifically an impressive (by low-end standards ) 5 MP rear-facing camera.
Meanwhile, it seems that Batman has chose to reveal its masked face to a busybody over at The Verge. Only it’s not Bruce Wayne that’s hiding behind the cryptic moniker. Or Christian Bale. Or Ben Affleck.
But instead, a Lumia 1320 that’s apparently set to highly resemble the Lumia 625. That means it’s to come with a 5 MP camera slapped on its back and VGA front snapper in tow, plus a large display (at least 4.7 inches) and… budget-affordable price tag. That’s not half bad, though I guess since the phablet will fall in the low-end category (mid-range tops), a more suited codename would have been Robin.
