Small and portable are always handy elements when one wants to pack light and stay mobile. But what about when you don’t care about that, when bigger is all you want? Jabra’s got you covered.
Jabra has just announced its latest addition to the Solemate speaker family. The Jabra Solemate Max brings you the same familiar design as its siblings, but with a size to fill your hands and your entire house.
If fuller, richer sounds is what you crave, the Solemate Max delivers with its large speaker, twin tweeters, twin woofers, and a custom-designed bass slave.
Though the speaker is bigger than the other Solemates, its lightweight design and built-in carrying handle makes it easy to bring around anywhere indoors or out.
The Solemate Max features the familiar, rugged tread on the bottom. It’s also dust and splash resistant, making it a great companion to bring along for outdoor parties or picnics with people. The internal battery can keep the music going for up to 14 hours, and a USB output port lets you charge your smartphone or other gadgets.
Jabra Solemate Max can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or NFC. For those with older devices, the sole of the speaker has an integrated cable for a wired connection.
Overall, the speaker sports a fashionable modern design that will look good in anyone’s home. If you’re ready with fistfuls of cash to throw at Jabra for on of your own, you’re going to have to wait.
Jabra is planning to demo the Solemate Max at CES 2014, in Las Vegas. This probably means you can actually purchase one sometime shortly after that.
