Mark Zuckerburg won’t run out of money even if he buys companies and smaller start-ups left and right. Looks like more will be added to his list of acquisitions, as there’s a rumor that BlackBerry is in talks with the top social network.BlackBerry and Facebook making a deal could do the former good after all the challenges the Canadian company has been facing.
This is actually good news because it means there are still people who believe in BlackBerry. We already heard about former Apple CEO John Sculley’s offering bid, as well as, FairFax Financial’s $4.7 investment bid.
BlackBerry seems to be determined to live on. Of course, why wouldn’t it being a pioneer in the smartphone industry? Samsung may not be interested in the company but certainly, there are others who would love to take on RIM.
If BlackBerry is absorbed by Facebook, will we see a new Facebook phone? Honestly, I hope Facebook forgets about this plan after the HTC First didn’t live up to expectations and it was cancelled in the U.K.
BlackBerry and Facebook in one team. What do you think?
