When it rains, it pours. Today will be all about the Google Nexus 5. Earlier today, it was rumored that the handset will see the daylight around 8AM PT, which could go on with the earlier rumors suggesting a October 31 launch. It is definitely the worst kept secret of the search engine giant, even including the Nexus 7 2013. While we are getting excited about the not-so-mysterious Google Nexus 5, the folks at FanaticFone managed to get their hands on various components of the handset.
Here are some more images of the components.
It appears to be the same handset we’ve seen in several leaks, but still a pinch of salt is recommended. The display components suggest that the handset will come with a 4.95-inch display, which we already know thanks to Wind Mobile as well as numerous leaks in the past. It’s expected to feature a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.
On the rear, the handset is rumored to come with an 8-MP camera with optical image stabilization. In terms of pricing, the 16GB version is expected to cost $349, thanks to the Google Play for leaking the handset for a short span of time.
Anyway, there’s a lot of things going on about the Google Nexus 5, which will end after Google officially unveils the handset. Some rumors even suggest that Google will start selling the LTE version of the Google Nexus 4 along with Nexus 5, despite the fact that it’s currently out of stock on the Google Play Store.
We’ll find out everything in the next few hours as Google is expected to take the wraps of its worst-kept secret.
