Not a company to do anything in a small way, Monster Products announced on Friday an addition to their studio-ready DNA headphones line, by means of their DNA Pro. Boasting noise isolation technology atop the celebrated Pure Monster Sound, the on-ear DNA Pro headset is offering forward-thinking audio quality at a price point that isn’t over-the-top.
What’s most important about the new pair of Monster DNA headphones is that other headsets in the market that can be found in the upper echelon of sound artists would require a battery pack or a couple of AA-s, whereas Noel Lee and his team have developed a way to do without the required extra help of battery power. The infamous and eccentric CEO had the following to say about his new DNA Pro:
“Headphones are maturing and so are listeners’ tastes,” said Head Monster Noel Lee. “It’s no longer just about bass energy, but clarity, transparency, dynamic impact and refinement in music reproduction.”
With Pure Monster Sound, the company focuses on providing listeners with the full experience of seeing a live music performance. As he’s described in the past as ‘creating the inverse’ of a microphone, Monster products with Pure Monster Sound are designed to produce what comes out of them exactly as they went into the microphone (in a recording studio) on the other end.
Monster DNA Pro feature the standard DNA triangular shaped ear cups and are available exclusively from Best Buy in two colors: White Tuxedo (white over black duo tone with chrome ear cups,) and Matte Black; both for $299.95 each.
