With International CES, the annual Las Vegas conflagration of tech CEOs, Hollywood celebrities, and tens of thousands of other people, just two months away, the organizers of CES on Tuesday launched a new mobile app and website for the big show.
The website and app feature a clean, easy-to-use look that’s meant to be seamless across all devices. The app allows for easy scheduling and navigation for those attending the event; it even includes topic-specific walking tours. In addition, attendees can register using the app.
International CES, scheduled for Jan. 7-10, is produced and owned by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). The big buzz surrounding this year’s event is focused around 4K/Ultra HD TVs, streaming, increased connectivity and 3D printing.
In the announcement, CEA conference chief Karen Chupka touted the app:
“Each year we strive to find new ways to improve the International CES experience for all of our attendees. Our new website and enhanced mobile app were both developed with the mobile-first approach, allowing users to access information easily no matter what device they are using.”
