Valencell, a startup manufacturer of sensor technology for mobile health and fitness, has announced a partnership with accessories manufacturer Scosche Industries to jointly introduce fitness monitoring products at CES.

The wearable tech products will be powered by Valencell’s PerformTek Precision Biometrics, a sensor technology that measures real-time biometrics. PerformTek, which will be licensed by Scosche, analyzes blood flow and physical activity level to monitor a user’s fitness biometrics, such as heart rate, and then presents the results in a comprehensible format for the end user.

Demos of the resulting products will be shown by both Valencell (South Hall, Booth 26509) and Scosche (North Hall, Booth 3806).
