Not too long ago, LG unveiled the first curved display smartphone, LG G Flex in its home market. If you’re waiting for the handset to hit a store near you, you’d be glad to know it will hit the shelves in Singapore and Hong Kong this month, followed by key Asian markets by the end of this year. It’s not just Asia, it will hit other global markets very soon as well.
The curved-display handset will be up for grabs in Singapore from December 8th, while it will hit the shelves in Hong Kong starting December 13th, from major carriers and electronics retailers in the regions.
Let’s just do a quick recall: the handset comes with a 6-inch Curved P-OLED display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and packs a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU. LG G Flex also comes with 2GB RAM on board with 32GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, a massive 3,500 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean pre-installed out of the box. LG G Flex also has a unique self-healing back that hides minor scratches, making it the first one of its kind.
