Who says Black Friday and Cyber Monday have to last only one day each and, once they’re gone, bargain hunters need to play the waiting game until Christmas? Not Amazon, as the famed online retailer has prolonged its Cyber Monday sale, slapping it with a December 8 (i.e. Sunday) expiration date.
And among the promotion’s stars still available on the cheap, you’ll find Samsung’s Galaxy S3 mini, Sony’s Xperia Z, ZL, J, SP, L and E and HTC’s OG Desire. All unlocked, SIM-free and with no contractual strings attached.
The single best deal is for the S3 mini, listed at $500 (yeah, right), normally available for around $400 (that’s more like it), and currently going for $236.50. The bad news? There are but a couple of units left in stock at the time of this writing, so before you know it, poof, the little guy will be gone.
Fret not however, as you have plenty of alternatives. Like Sony’s water-repellent Xperia Z beast, worth close to 800 bucks back in the day and now up for grabs at the incredible price of $465. Then there are a handful of budget alternatives, starting with the $181 Xperia J, $149 Xperia E and $250 Xperia L.
The SP is a little costlier, at $309, but it’s definitely worth it, the ZL (aka the Z sans water protection) costs $416, and finally the HTC Desire has a $180 price tag. Is it just me or does it feel like Christmas already?
