htc_one_xperia_zBoy oh boy, are mobile tech fans spoiled by retailers and carriers with amazing deals even after Black Friday and Cyber Monday and with Christmas down the road. The latest promo is going on over at T-Mobile, as the “UnCarrier” sells two high-end slabs of silicon at prices worthy of low-enders.

First up, you have a Sony Xperia Z for $240. That’s $240 full retail price, with no contractual obligations, tricks or strings attached. Best of all, you can score the 5-inch waterproofer with no upfront payment, as the $240 will be then split in 24 monthly payments of 10 bucks each.

Normally, the Z goes for $504, so technically you’re looking at a $264 discount. 52%, if you will, although in the interest of full disclosure, the units slapped with $240 price tags are refurbished. Hence, they come with a fair share of risks and limited 90-day warranties.

Still worth it? You bet, as I’m yet to see a refurb phone crack earlier than a brand-new unit. Besides, the [easyazon-link asin=”B00AXSXDFI” locale=”us”]Xperia Z[/easyazon-link] is quite spectacular, packing a 5-inch Full HD panel, quad-core 1.5 GHz speed and 2 GB RAM. It’s currently running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but a 4.4 KitKat update is right around the corner.

Meanwhile, the other handheld part of the promotion, the HTC One, is even snazzier, however it’s also a tad costlier, at $0 upfront and $13 monthly rates, which comes down to $312 full retail price ($290 off).

Again, you’re looking at a refurb unit, so a bit of caution is advised. Oh, to hell with all that! $312 for a 4.7-incher with Full HD, quad-core Snapdragon 600 power, 2,300 mAh battery, 2 GB RAM and aluminum unibody design? Yes, please, T-Mo.
