The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has announced yet another attraction for the upcoming International CES: The first-ever Experience CEA Stage. It’ll feature interviews with top tech authors and journalists, as well as an appearance by rap star and tech entrepreneur 50 Cent.
The Experience CEA Stage will be located during the first three show floor days — Jan. 7-9 — at the CEA booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Grand Lobby, located between the North and Central Halls.
Highlights on the 7th include Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky, interviewed by the Wall Street Journal‘s Joanna Stern; Robert Scoble and Shel Israel interviewed by CEA’s Jeff Joseph; and Pandora founder Tim Westergren interviewed by USA TODAY’s Jefferson Graham.
Wednesday the 8th will include a talk between CEA’s Shawn DuBravac and Entertainment Matters ambassador Maria Menounos, along with an interview of Facebook’s Randi Zuckerberg by Andrea Smith.
On Thursday the 9th, Graham will speak on the Experience CEA Stage with 50 Cent, the popular rapper and SMS Audio founder.
“There are so many highlights of the 2014 CES that we want to bring them as front and center to as many attendees as possible,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president of corporate business strategy and the International CES, CEA. “CEA’s mission is to foster innovation and grow the CE industry and this stage provides the perfect opportunity for us. It provides a high-level CES experience where attendees can stop by and hear directly from some of the CE industry’s top leaders and most prominent authors.”
In addition, the stage will feature video replays of CES keynotes, as well as book signings.
