One of the first brands wowing the audience this year in Vegas is Fujifilm. The company announced the 50x superzoom FinePix S1 camera and a black version of the X100S. The latter is actually a follow-up to the X100 but is now with a darker finish that makes it look more retro stylish. Specs include a 16 megapixel sensor, 23mm･F2 single focal length lens, APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, 2.8-inch LCD monitor, and ISO25600 sensitivity.
As for the new Fujifilm FinePix S1, the compact camera is ready for extreme weather. It is weather-resistant (dust and rain) and boasts of a 50x (24-1,200mm) f/2.8-5.6 lens that allows super zoom. Other features include WiFi image sharing, 1080p video, 10fps burst shooting mode, a tilting 3-inch LCD, and a 920,000 pixel viewfinder.
