After teasing the handset for a little while, the folks at Oppo took the wraps off their newest creation, the Oppo Neo. It’s not a high-end device as the Oppo N1, but comes with a pretty decent set of specifications on board at a very considerable price. The handset rocks a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display sporting a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, and is extra sensitive so it can be used with gloves as well. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
Other features include 5MP rear camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, 1,900 mAh battery, dual-SIM capabilities and runs ColorOS based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. There’s no word about the amount of RAM or the internal storage of the handset at the moment.
The handset measures 132 x 65.8 x 9.2mm and weighs only 130g. In terms of pricing, it costs 2,599,000IDR in Indonesia which is almost $215.
