Finally Samsung decided to put an end to all the rumors circulating all over the internet and took the wraps of its budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. Recently, the tablet’s user manual was inadvertently posted on Samsung Poland website, it even went on sale on a polish retailer for almost $165 for the WiFi version.
Now that Samsung has officially released the tablet, it seems to be the same as we’ve heard several times in the past. In case you didn’t get a change to read about it, it rocks a 7-inch WSVGA display sporting a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage with a microSD card slot for extra storage.
Other features include a 2MP rear camera for photos and videos, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ (2.4GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, BT4.0, USB2.0 and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean pre-installed out of the box. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite comes with a 3,600mAh battery that is capable of delivering 8 hours of video playback without the need for an adapter.
The tablet measures 116.4 x 193.4 x 9.7mm and weighs only 310g for the WiFi version. There’s no word about the pricing, but it will hit the shelves in two colors: black and white.
