MetroPCS very often gets forgotten when people talk about America’s biggest, best, most lucrative networks to activate one’s phone on, however their no-contract prices for entry-level Androids are frequently unbeatable.
Like right now, as three of Metro’s low-enders have just dropped to $29. 29 lousy bucks for dual and quad-core slabs of silicon with pre-loaded Jelly Bean. Isn’t that something? I think it is, especially as one of the discounted handhelds debuted a measly couple of months ago and used to cost $99.
Now, I’m no math whiz, but it sounds like the Alcatel One Touch Fierce is up for grabs for $70, or 70%, off. Incredible! Meanwhile, the Huawei Valiant is $29 after a $50 price shave, and the Alcatel OT Evolve, also just two months old, goes for $29 after being sold for $59.
Rounding up the deals, there’s LG’s Optimus F6, available for a little more moolah, at $79, but fully deserving, since it supports 4G LTE connectivity and packs a ginormous 2,460 mAh battery. Oh, yeah, the Optimus F6 is $120(!!!) off, as Metro so far charged $199 for the 4.5-incher.
Final disclaimer: the promos may have expiration dates, so get a move on, and Optimus F6 and Fierce’s special prices include $20 rebates, valid through April 9.
