Not too long ago, HTC started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKAt for the HTC One in parts of Europe, but it’s not the only HTC device that’s getting updated. According to several reports, HTC Butterfly phones in several regions are getting the sweet taste of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The update also brings the latest Sense 5.5 UI along with the Android 4.3 sweetness.
However, there’s another side of the story for those who are using the Verizon Droid DNA in the U.S. According to a known HTC ROM developer LlabTooFer, Verizon Droid DNA will directly get the Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will skip Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Now, the news hasn’t been confirmed by HTC yet, but he has a pretty decent track record so we can take his word with a little bit of salt. Until then, Droid DNA users have to get used to the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Coming over to the changes introduced in the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for HTC Butterfly. Along with the HTC Sense UI 5.5, the update brings improvements to video highlightes, HTC Zoe camera mode, and a lot more. Here’s a set of additions in the latest update.
- Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
