HTC M8 has leaked extensively in the past few months. According to the well-known Twitter @evleaks, HTC M8 aka HTC One 2 is expected to see the light of the day by late-March, possibly at a press event in New York City.
Although we’ve seen rumors about its announcement at the Mobile World Congress later this month, we can give this rumor some weight thanks to the decent track record of @evleaks, and it could very well be March. For those who don’t know, Samsung is also rumored to hold a special event in mid-March in London where the Korean OEM is expected to take the wraps off of its Samsung Galaxy S5.
To refresh your memory, the handset is rumored to come with a 5-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, however, it can be 2K but a majority of rumors point towards 1080p. Under the hood, it is expected to come with Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2/3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage on board.
On the rear, it could come with an upgraded UltraPixel camera, while some rumors mention it will come with dual-camera sensors for capturing photos in various lighting conditions, WiFi, Bluetooth, and is expected to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest Sense 6.0 UI pre-installed out of the box.
Let’s hope the date is correct this time. We’ll update you if anything else comes up.
