If you’re a proud owner of a Xbox One, you’ll be glad to hear that a system update will land on the gaming console next week. Microsoft has announced a new system update for the Xbox One will land on February 11th, which is Tuesday next week. The news came from the chief product officer, Marc Whitten.

The new update will bring a host of improvements and new features to the gaming console, including a battery indicator on the homescreen so you can easily track the battery left on your Xbox One controller. The latest update will also give users the ability to manage the storage space on their Xbox One by letting users manage their content and manage your download queue.

Other improvements include “lots of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for Xbox One, several new features we believe Xbox fans will love, stability and product updates to improve the customer experience, and continuous improvements to the quality of Kinect voice so commands become more fluid and responsive over time.”

More information about the complete set of features introduced in the update will be released at a later date. We’ll make sure you find out about all the new goodies that will be a part of the upcoming system update.
