Google will only get bigger. It’s in the process of acquiring startups but it’s also diligent in shutting down services that are no longer important. We also know that the search giant won’t be spending more dollars on developing new apps but will rather improve on the major ones. One of which is YouTube – a definite moneymaker.
Google is working harder now to make its mobile version even better using HTML5. An improved version means it could run on any platform without much problems. So perhaps we’ll see a new mobile YouTube UI.
As expected, Google could be working on a card-based UI for this not just for a mobile website but also for the desktop YouTube site. If the card UI is used, will then see split content showing the video and information and another for suggested videos. Let’s wait and see.
