Samsung has posted another teaser of their upcoming Unpacked 5 event scheduled to take place at the Mobile World Congress later this month in Barcelona. At the event, the Korean OEM is expected to take the wraps off of their upcoming flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5. And, the teaser hints at all new icons, with lots of 5s, suggesting a revamped TouchWiz UI and the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
The teaser shows nine new icons: Speed, Outdoor, Curiosity, Fun, Social, Style, Privacy, Fitness and Life. Well, if you just speculate, they could be the traits of the upcoming flagship device with Speed referring the latest Exynos and Snapdragon processors, while Fitness and Life could be the two new applications (Life Times and S Health) we’ve already heard about.
For those who needs a refresher about what to expect from the flagship device, it’s rumored to come with a 5.25-inch display with 2K resolution, Exynos/Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, 16MP camera, 3,200 mAh battery and is expected to ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat pre-installed out of the box.
Some rumors also suggest there will be two versions of it, one featuring a 2K resolution and 3GB of RAM, while the other one will come with a 1080p resolution and 2GB RAM.
Anyway, let’s just wait for the event and see what surprises await us at the Mobile World Congress.
