Among the many camera makers, I prefer Canon for their products. My first compact camera was an Ixus 60, a 6 megapixel digicam that I’ve been using since 2006. I’m planning to get a replacement for my Nikon D40 and I’m considering Canon’s cheapest DSLR to date: the Rebel T5.
The Canon Rebel T5 is not a mirrorless camera but it packs super features such as an 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor, 100 to 12,800 ISO sensitivity, 1080/30p video capture, DIGIC 4 processor, 9-point AF system, and 3 fps continuous shooting. Okay, so it’s not super but it’s a nice starter kit and for the $550 price, it’s very affordable. $450 if you just want the DSLR body.
Canon Rebel T5 DSLR will roll out this coming March.
