sony_xperia_spLast month, Sony added a few more devices to the list of those who will get the sweet treat of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, including Sony Xperia SP, Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V. Sony has already rolled out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z

If you’re rocking the year old Sony Xperia SP, you be glad to hear that Sony is rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the handset. Although Sony might be a little late to the party as several devices from other manufacturers are getting the chocolaty Android 4.4 KitKat, but it’s still a good thing for all those who are using a Sony Xperia SP.

Currently, reports suggests it’s rolling out in Malaysia, Australia (Vodafone) and UK via the Sony’s PC Companion suite. Sony has also updated the software page for the Xperia SP stating Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as the latest OS and asks users to check manually via Settings app as well to get the update.

Along with the usual Jelly Bean goodies, the latest update brings several enhancements and features to the handset, including Sony’s Smart Social Camera, new version of battery stamina mode for improved battery life, and more.

If you haven’t received the update, you may want to check manually for the update from your settings, or by connecting your device to Sony’s PC software. Let us know in the comments if you received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on your Xperia SP.
