With the Mobile World Congress happening in Barcelona fast approaching, LG decided to get ahead of other smartphone manufacturers by officially announcing its latest offering, the LG G Pro 2. Of course, this smartphone has been the subject of rumors and leaks the past couple of weeks and so most of the specs and features that we’re going to tell you are nothing new anymore.
You probably know by now that this beast of a smartphone will be sporting a 5.9-inch screen size with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. This puts the LG G Pro 2 at par with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 when it comes to this feature. The LG G Pro 2 will also run Android’s latest version which is version 4.4. KitKat. The device will also come with 16GB or 32GB storage options.
While those mentioned specs may not be enough to get us all excited considering that other smartphones already have them, the LG G Pro 2 still has some great things to offer. And that comes in the smartphone’s camera. The LG G Pro 2 will come with a 13MP rear camere with OIS+technology which is said to have superb image stabilization and anti-shake feature. Additionally, the phone’s camera is capable of shooting 720p videos in 120 frames per second. It is also capable of shooting ultra HD video and comes with Magic Focus feature.
No words yet on the pricing and release dates of the LG G Pro 2. But we expect LG to make all these known at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
