nexus-7-2013All done shopping for Valentine’s? Good, then it’s time to get yourself something pretty too. How does a shiny new Google Nexus 7 2013 tablet sound? Expensive? Fret not, as Micro Center has your back.

For in-store pickup only, the retailer has the 7-incher listed at $180 with 16 GB built-in storage, and $200 in a 32 GB flavor. The former is $50 off its Google Play list price, and the latter comes with $70 savings. $60, compared with Amazon.

Not too shabby, but you may want to hurry, as the promotion is unlikely to last very long. There doesn’t seem to be an expiration date attached to it, however inventory is most definitely limited. Don’t know of a Micro Center brick and mortar store around?

Then why not try Staples or Officemax for price matching? Apparently, certain prospective buyers have asked them nicely for an equivalent offer, and they’ve complied. Remember, it’s the latest, hottest Nexus 7 version we’re dealing with here, i.e. the Full HD-toting, Snapdragon S4 Pro-packing beast weighing in at 299 grams. Also, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat out the box.

Cheap (er) N7s, fresh House of Cards episodes, who needs women this Valentine’s?
